Every Monday morning you get a short memo: your contribution profit after product costs, shipping, payment fees, refunds and ad spend, what changed since the week before, and three specific things to do this week. Plain English, by email, built from read-only access to your store and ad accounts.
We work by email. No software to install, no passwords to share, and a setup-fee refund if the first month finds nothing worth fixing.
Shopify shows sales. Meta and Google each report their own return on ad spend. Neither tells you what was left after everything was paid for.
Before a memo goes out, every number in it is recomputed from the source data. If anything doesn't match, the memo is held for review, not sent.
This sample is built from synthetic data for a fictional candle store, "Larkspur & Pine". It is not a real client and the numbers are not real results. It shows the format and the depth you'd get each week.
The profit leak audit is the first thing you receive after setup: a one-page review of the last 90 days.
Setup takes about one to two weeks, almost all of it on our side. Everything happens by email.
Read-only, under your control, and revocable at any time. We never ask for your passwords and we can't change your store, products, prices or campaigns.
| Source | How you connect it | What we can do |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | You create a private custom app for your own store (Shopify admin → Settings → Apps → Develop apps → Dev Dashboard) with read-only scopes only: orders, products, inventory costs and Shopify Payments payouts. You send us its credentials through a one-time secure link, never plain email. | Read only. You can uninstall the app at any time, which cuts access immediately. |
| Meta Ads | You add Ferry Metrics as a partner in Meta Business Manager with view-only access to the ad account. | View spend and results. No ability to edit or create ads. |
| Google Ads, TikTok Ads | Read-only / view-only user or partner access to the ad account. | View spend and results only. |
| Product costs | Shopify's "cost per item" field, or a simple Google Sheet we set up with you once. | Used only to calculate your profit. |
| Bank | Not needed. We never ask for bank logins or bank access. | None. |

A one-time setup, then a monthly fee. Prices in USD. Cancel the monthly plan any time with one email; there's no long contract.
If the memos in your first month don't find anything worth fixing, we refund your full setup fee.
Invoiced in USD by bank transfer. Setup is paid before work starts; the monthly fee is billed in advance each month.
If you look after Shopify or Amazon sellers, we can do the payout reconciliation and a monthly profit pack under your firm's name.
$1,200 one-time setup + $100 per store per month.
No. The memo arrives by email. The only thing you set up is a read-only Shopify custom app and view-only ad account access, using our guide.
No. Access is read-only or view-only. We can't edit products, orders, prices or campaigns, and you can remove our access at any time.
That's common. We set up a simple sheet with you once, and you tell us when a cost changes.
Every number in a memo is recomputed from the source data before it's sent, and anything that doesn't match is held back. Profit figures depend on the costs you give us, so we confirm them with you during setup.
No. We work by email, with a written setup checklist.
Then you get your setup fee back. If the first four memos don't find anything worth fixing, email us within 14 days of the fourth one and we refund the full setup fee. See the guarantee terms.
Reply to any memo or email [email protected]. We stop at the end of the paid month and delete your data as described in our data policy.
Email us your store URL and which ad platforms you use. We'll reply with what your memo would cover and what setup involves.
